(27) 'But man, why B Flat ???'

A year ago when I took the pen name ' B flat ' someone asked me ,"But man, why B
flat ???"
and now I'm gonna give that moron a
real cause ....

In a sentence it's 'cause I just love that
note.
I think you guys need some explanation.
Here it is ........
Let's start with a short story :-
During World War II, the New York
Philharmonic was visiting the American
Museum of Natural History. During
rehearsal, somebody played a note that
upset a resident live alligator named
Oscar. Oscar, who'd been in the
museum on 81st Street, suddenly began
to bellow. Naturally, with so many
scientists in residence, an experiment
was quickly devised to see how to get
Oscar to bellow again. Various
musicians — string, percussive and brass
— were brought to Oscar to play various
notes. It turned out the culprit was B
flat, one octave below middle C.
The experiment was repeated for many
times. In the 1990's the experiment was
repeated on an ABC News broadcast ,
playing a B flat to a collection of gators
at a roadside attraction in Florida and
recording their bellows.
Why B flat ? :-O
Then you'd have to ask an alligator. :-P
By the way , likewise there are many
mysterious story about the note B flat .
And now , the real cause is .....
B flat is the deepest and lowest note in
the Universe . And the note B flat is
there from the very early beginning of
the Universe . And B flat is a part of
the mystery behind this Universe .
All those philosophers and scientists and
theoreticians and composers who
believed in the ancient notion of a
Music of the Spheres were onto
something, there is such a music, and
it's the note of B flat.
Astronomers using NASA's Chandra X-
ray Observatory have found, for the
first time, sound waves from a
supermassive black hole. The "note" is
the deepest ever detected from any
object in our Universe.
The black hole resides in the Perseus
cluster of galaxies located 250 million
light years from Earth.
In musical terms, the pitch of the
sound generated by the black hole
translates into the note of B flat.
i.e. The black hole emits the note B
flat.
The notes have a period of oscillation
of 10 million years, which makes them
''the lowest note in the universe.''
These B flats may be the oldest and the
longest notes in the universe .
But, a human would have no chance of
hearing this cosmic performance
because the note is 57 octaves lower
than middle-C. For comparison, a
typical piano contains only about seven
octaves. Its frequency is over a million
billion times deeper than the limits of
human hearing .
So, these sound waves may be the key
in figuring out how galaxy clusters, the
largest structures in the Universe, grow.
The black hole B flat or the cosmic B
flat ...
If that frequency (or pitch) is now the
acoustical bedrock of the universe,
perhaps our entire tuning system,
centered on middle C, needs revision.
Our harmonic system involves keys with
increasing numbers of sharps and flats
exfoliating out from middle C, or from
C major.
Now, perhaps, we have to exfoliate
from B flat.
Maybe this is as big a shift in human
thinking as that from a flat-earth-centered universe to the solar system.
The Universe is just steadily and very
slowly singing the note of B flat, over and over.
And obviously a B flat Universe is not such a bad place to be .

That's why, it's B flat !!!

(26) A Sky Full of Dreams

'Cause your sky, a sky full of dreams
Close your eyes, just to watch them sparking
It's the time, you can rule your life
Be the one, who dreams for the mankind
'Cause your sky, a sky full of dreams
'Cause your sky, a sky full of dreams

That's gonna be the way to light
you just have to keep it on your eyes,
Things gonna be a bit different then
no longer time could make you a slave,

Then you can look straight to those eyes
no matter weather they are wet or dry,
One true time driven by your dreams
you can paint their souls by the colour of your dreams

And 'cause your sky, a sky full of dreams
Close your eyes, just to watch them sparking
It's the time, you can rule your life
Be the one, who dreams for the mankind
'Cause your sky, a sky full of dreams
'Cause your sky, a sky full of dreams
